Red Cargo Trailer

In the fall of 2017, we designed our first cargo trailer conversion. We ordered it special from Douglas, Georgia. We had them build a 7 x 16 x 7 foot tall trailer.

We told them where to put the doors and windows. We ordered it in red and it all turned out just the way we wanted. Thus began a 14 month journey.

 

We had basic knowledge of building , electrical and plumbing. Bill was still working at the time, so our physical labor was on the weekends. During the week we spent researching and figuring out how to do each project.

 

We made a list of our priorities: coffee, shower, toilet, basic kitchen, queen size 12 inch mattress and our 50 inch TV. We knew we canted total electric, fresh on board water and a way to drain grey water. We did not want a black tank. We documented our build on YouTube.

March 1st 2019 we moved out of the house, sticks and bricks, and into our new home.

So the adventure began...
