Our Second (and last) Build

In late fall of 2020, Bill made a comment on a YouTube video that the red trailer might be for sale...

Well after several people contacting us we agreed to meet a couple at a campground in Mississippi to talk about it. Since the red trailer was our permanent home, and we had no place to live while building another, we were in a situation.

This couple said we could park on their property, live in the red trailer and build the new one.

So we designed the new build and ordered it.

Our new one was 8 1/2 wide x 20 long x 71/2 tall. It was also suppose to be red. We ordered it in February 2021. Due to supply and demand we could not pick it up until April 26, 2021 and then only if we would settle for a grey, grey or grey trailer. So, it was a tough decision but we chose...grey.

We took it to the property and worked and worked. We got the walls insulated, the floor insulated, and the ceiling insulated. We put the wall material up and the ceiling material up. We got the basic plumbing in just to take a shower. We built the Bed platform, basically we did just what we needed to so we could live and do basic functions of life. We moved out of the red trailer the first of June and drove to Florida.

At Florida, we had people waiting to help. They helped to install the windows, the mini-split and welded the platform and the scissor Jack on the front. We are so grateful for all the help.

We left the first of July and went to a camp host position on Beaver Lake in Arkansas. We worked 3 days a week for the campground and worked on the trailer 4 days a week. We are still not 100% done, but we are loving it.

It is so awesome to move from place to place but we are always home. We're not camping, we are living!
